Privacy Policy for Goals Coach

Ultimate Goals Fitness LLC, doing business as Ultimate Goals Fitness (“Ultimate Goals Fitness,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides the Goals Coach mobile application and related Goals Coach member services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

Account and membership information

We may process your name, contact information, member or account identifiers, authentication status, membership status, and access eligibility so that we can provide and secure member-only services. Authentication credentials may be handled by our authentication or membership-service providers; we do not use your password for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Workout, nutrition, and progress information

When you use Goals Coach, we may process information you enter or generate through the service, such as fitness goals, workout plans, completed exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, duration, check-ins, progress measurements, challenge activity, foods and meals, calories, macronutrients, micronutrients, nutrition goals, and preferences.

Optional connected health information

If you choose to connect a supported health service or device, Goals Coach may receive the limited health information you authorize. For Health Connect, the current app requests read access only to resting-heart-rate summaries and exercise sessions. We use exercise start and end times to calculate workout duration. We do not request permission to write Health Connect data.

Technical and security information

We may process limited device, browser, timestamp, diagnostic, and security-event information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect member accounts. We seek to minimize this information and avoid retaining sensitive provider payloads when a normalized summary is sufficient.

How we use information

We use information to:

• authenticate users and verify membership access;
• provide workouts, nutrition tools, progress features, challenges, and member support;
• perform optional health-data imports that you request;
• maintain data integrity, prevent fraud or abuse, and secure the service;
• diagnose errors and improve reliability; and
• meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Goals Coach is a fitness and wellness tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnosis, and is not an emergency service. A health reading by itself does not automatically change your workout or nutrition plan.

Health Connect data

Health Connect use is optional and requires your permission on your Android device. When the Health Connect import feature is available and you choose to sync:

• Goals Coach reads only the data categories you authorize and that the feature needs: resting heart rate and exercise sessions.
• The app reads data in the foreground after you initiate a manual check or sync. It does not request background Health Connect access.
• The current import looks back no more than 14 days.
• Goals Coach does not request Health Connect routes, sleep records, raw granular heart-rate streams, or permission to write Health Connect data.
• The app sends normalized summaries, such as a daily resting-heart-rate value or workout duration with source and time information, to Goals Coach only after you select the data and initiate the sync.
• Source identifiers may be used to prevent duplicate imports and preserve the origin of a record.

You can pause syncing in Goals Coach and revoke Health Connect permissions in your device settings. Revoking permission stops future access but does not automatically delete summaries that you previously chose to import. You may request deletion as described below.

We do not sell Health Connect data, use it for advertising, or disclose it for advertising. Our access, use, storage, and sharing of Health Connect data are limited to providing and improving the user-facing health and fitness features you choose to use.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information or health information. We may share the minimum information necessary with service providers that help us operate Goals Coach, such as hosting, authentication, membership-management, communications, and supported integration providers. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us under appropriate protections.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights or safety of members or others, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements. Information is not shared with other members unless you deliberately use a feature that is designed to share or display it.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide Goals Coach, maintain account and transaction integrity, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention can vary by data type and the reason it was collected.

Workout, nutrition, progress, and health summaries may remain associated with your member account while the account or related services are active. When information is deleted, limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups or security records until their normal deletion cycle, or longer if retention is required by law. We do not use retained backup information for new purposes.

Your choices and rights

You may review or correct available profile information through Goals Coach or by contacting us. You may decline optional health connections, choose which supported data to sync, pause syncing, disconnect a provider, or revoke Health Connect permissions in your device settings.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your Goals Coach account by emailing staff@ugf.club. Please use the email address associated with your membership when possible. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Certain information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or record-integrity purposes. You may also contact us if you believe a privacy choice is not working as expected.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include encrypted network transport, access controls, separation of sensitive credentials from application code, and limiting access to people and systems that need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Goals Coach is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us with concerns.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Goals Coach changes or as legal requirements evolve. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
